On a wet and cold Sunday morning, Readingensian Under 14;s traveled to Pinner for a friendly 4-way fixture with the home team, Old Fullerians from Watford and Reading Abbey.
A mixed squad of players gave a very good account of themselves remaining unbeaten through all 3 games.
The results were:
Redingensians 19: Old Fullerians 7
Redingensians 5: Reading Abbey 0
Redingensians 27: Pinner 5
With Redingensians loaning Abbey 2 different players for each of their games, it was a day when the main winner was the spirit of rugby.
Thanks to Pinner for organizing the day and creating a format where everyone had a chance to play.
