On the back of some promising rugby over the past few weeks it seems the half term break and last weekends weather cancellation has put the U13s back a few weeks. Losing 41-0 is not a match we want to dwell on.
Ealing were well organised and played together as a team. Today, simply put, we didn't.
The Ealing forwards were running quickly, won the ball and moved it well. The 'ensians forwards were tardy, slow to the break down and standing off waiting for things to happen. Ealing's backs stayed in position and worked together when the ball came to them which they ran through to score. Our backs were disorganised, at best. Oh and Ealing tackled, we didn't.
There were a few good pieces of individual play, notably Benji and Ollie along with Dylan and Matt who did manage a couple of great tackles each.
Enough said.
Next week, head's in the right place boys!
