We entered two mixed ability squads and enjoy a great day in the Sun. As coach we were really pleased to see elements we work on in training being put into practice during the game and that beats any result on the day.

Rebels squad:
Draw 6:6 V Reading;
Draw 6:6 V Wallingford 2;
Draw 8:8 V Abbey 3
Won 5:4 V Beaconsfield.

Titans squad:
Lost 8:7 V Abbey Red;
Draw 7:7 V Abbey Green;
Lost ?:? V Reading 1 (sorry score got lost!);
Win 8:7 V Bracknell 2.

Well done all - a great day with everyone showing some great skills - playing in space, running on to the ball, communicating and concentrating well and, unlike some opponents, playing as a team! Some very close matches, never more than a try away, a few less errors and we'd of had even bigger smiles - we should take a lot away from this tournament - we entered mixed ability teams, it was some boys 1st or 2nd tournament, coped well with strong 'non-contact' play and always looked like the more complete and disciplined team
Coach Gareth

I was and remain hugely proud of my squad. The boys played some fabulous rugby. All worked hard for each other. Always bounced back to the restart ready to go again. Great attitude, positive and determined. An honour to spend a sunny morning with 10 such sunny personalities.
Coach Robin

Next week end is very busy, we are entering three teams into the St Patricks Festival and the visit High Wycombe on Sunday.

More updates next week.
