ADULT RUGBY RETURNS TO OLD BATH ROAD!

ADULT RUGBY RETURNS TO OLD BATH ROAD!

Rich Ashton11 Dec 2020 - 20:30

Limited capacity to watch Vets and Sirens this weekend

READY4RUGBY returns to Old Bath Road this weekend with a Vets tournament on Saturday followed up by a derby clash with Reading for the Sirens on Sunday!

Tomorrow’s event kicks off at 12.30pm and features two teams from Rams – the Vets and a Minis’ Coaches side – along with guests from Reading RFC and Reading Abbey.

The Sirens return to action the following day with a 2pm kick-off.

Ready4Rugby is the 10-a-side, ‘two-touch’ format created by the RFU to allow some action as the country continues to battle the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

Full contact rugby - without scrums or mauls - will be permitted from Friday, December 18, with the National Cup set to start in February.

These are ticketed seated sporting events and as seating is limited spectator numbers will be restricted. Tickets are available on the day from the Rams Shack and wristbands will be issued. You will be asked to wear your wrist band at all times.

Any unseated supporters are asked to abide by the rule of six and observe social distance and will not be able to use the bar.

Please do not attend if you are showing any symptoms of Covid – namely a high temperature, loss of sense of taste or smell, or a new and persistent cough.
