Hooker Max Hayman, fellow front row James Baker, engine room enforcer Dan Swain and flanker Ben Atkins all got the nod in a side picked by Ben Jaycock using suggestions from club reporters around the division.

The league’s top try-scorer Hayman was praised for ‘performing the fundamentals of the hooker position well and being lively around the field’ as well as touching down on 26 occasions, while Baker was described as ‘getting better with age’ and ‘the best scrummaging tight-head at National One level’.

Swain was lauded as an ‘all-action, powerful and athletic forward who pit in huge hits and important work in the line-out’, with Atkins ‘enjoying an outstanding debut season who always impressed with his powerful ball carrying and athleticism’.

Champions Chinnor had the most inclusions with six, lock Connor Brockschmidt joined in the pack by retiring No. 8 Willie Ryan, plus half-backs Luke Carter and George Worboys and centre pairing James Bourton and Morgan Passman.

Plymouth prop Ramaz Rukhadze and Rosslyn Park open-side flanker Arthur Ellis completed the forwards, with another Park man, wing Charlie Walker, joined by Taunton’s teenage sensation Noah Fenton and Birmingham Moseley No. 15 Sam Pointon in the back three.
