COUNTIES Three Tribute Berks, Bucks & Oxon South champions the Dragon’s Teeth were given further recognition when they were named Berkshire’s Team of the Month for March.

Newly-elected RFU Council Representative Steve Bough was on hand to present manager Marcus Noye with a crate of the sponsor’s finest before Rams overcame Cinderford 38-28 at Old Bath Road on Saturday – and it was finished fairly swiftly!

The prize was earned by the DTs after they secured the title with a final-day 27-0 home win against Phoenix, having been awarded a walkover by Marlow 2nd XV the week before.

Those results helped Rams secure the title after it looked like they may fall short following a surprise defeat at bottom side High Wycombe 2nd XV in the middle of March.

It was the second time the Dragon’s won the honour this term, having previously picked it up following a super start to the season back in September when they won 50-23 at Phoenix and defeated Windsor 2nd XV in a friendly.
