RAMS begin their fifth campaign in National One with a home game against Darlington Mowden Park on Saturday (3pm).

The two sides have faced off eight times since 2019, Rams winning six, but the visitors took the spoils 41-36 in the corresponding fixture last November.

Both sides are well known for their free-flowing styles, and with the weather forecast set fair, a cracking encounter should be on the cards.

League action starts the night before as The Centaurs (3rd XV) visit Maidenhead 2nd XV in Counties Two Tribute Berks, Bucks & Oxon South tomorrow (8.15pm).

The resurgent Mighty Cents have enjoyed a solid pre-season, and with plenty of last year’s highly successful Colts side among their ranks, will be looking to start the season in style.
