SCRUM-HALF Ollie Monye has been picked by Great Britain for their opening Rugby Europe Championship Sevens Series event in Makarska, Croatia, this weekend.

The former Oratory School student's side are placed in Pool C alongside Spain, Belgium and Lithuania, with defending Series champions Ireland in Group A with Georgia, Germany and the host nation.

The other four competing teams are France, Portugal, Italy and Ukraine.
