HONEY HEADS TOP POINTS-SCORERS FOR SECOND SEASON IN A ROW

FLY-HALF Fraser Honey ended as Rams’ top National One points-scorer for the second consecutive campaign as the Cornishmen’s boot landed 169 over the course of the season.

Fraser slotted 74 conversions and seven penalties to take top spot, Zach Clow’s 17 tries helping him to 85 ahead of captain Max Hayman (13 tries, 65 points).

Sweden skipper Axel Kalling-Smith crossed the whitewash 12 times for 60, Tomek Pozniak and Morgan MacRae next in line with 45 and 40 points respectively.

Andrew Lamb’s sparkling performance in the season finale at Darlington Mowden Park fired him up to seventh for the season, four tries and the seven conversions up north helping him close on 34 points.

Robbie Stapley and Dan Swain were level on 30 after snaring six tries apiece, Tom Vooght a single score but five points back on 25.

Rams scored three penalty tries worth 21 points in total, Ben Atkins, James McRae and Solodrau Radianirova’s four tries each meaning they were next in line.

Youngster Ollie Hodgson crossed three times in as many games after his maiden score against Blackheath, standing alone on 15 points for the season.

Five players were five points back after Nile Dacres, Mikey Duda, Rowan Grundy, Ryan Lomas and Oli Rhoads all touched down twice, while there were 11 players to score a try alone in the form of James Baker, Nick Barry, Sam Boxhall, Ollie Cole, Ioan Emanuel, Luke Graham, Olise Monye, Jake Murray, Joe Pannese, Jack Rampton, Jasper Spandler.

In total Rams scored 784 points in their 26 games, an average of 30.15.
