ONE of Rams’ all-time legends, JJ Bell, was named Centaurs’ Clubman of the Season following his brilliant all-round efforts during a runners-up season in Counties Two Tribute Berks, Bucks & Oxon South.
The Bell dynasty is famous at the club for more than 50 years when JJ’s dad Joe, along with brothers Micky, Tim and Thadias first got involved, and there is no sign of their efforts stopping following another glowing campaign, player-coach Jack Gaylor effusive in his praise.
He explained: “This season JJ has stepped up off the pitch and supported the coaches and captains whenever needed, including taking kit to games, cleaning kit, stepping in to run training when needed.
“He has a unique ability to work closely with the younger members of the squad and share his experience, and also show through his actions what is expected in training, warm-ups and matchday.”
*Congratulations JJ on a brilliant effort!
