Name: Leo Hallam
Company: Courtiers
First year of sponsorship: 1988 - The Colts Sevens.
What our business does: Asset Management for wealthy families and institutions.
Why we sponsor RAMS: RAMS enriches lives and creates opportunities across generations.
Favourite RAMS match: Any I’m at.
Worst RAMS match: See the best in them all, but those tight games where RAMS don’t get needed points are tough to swallow.
Favourite RAMS try: Jak Rossiter at home to Tonbridge Juddians in October 2018.
He ‘superman-slid’ over the right side of the try line, clubhouse side, got straight up and punched the ball to the sky. A good example of the continuous energy at Rams.
Favourite RAMS player(s): The combined beast which is the sum of all its parts!
Favourite ever try (any rugby): Don’t have a favourite ever, love the action.
Favourite ever player (any rugby): I respect all who put themselves in a position, play hard and play well (on and off the pitch).
Favourite food: South Korean.
Favourite drink: Caprioska drenched in tropical sunshine.
Favourite travel destination: Einstein said it... “love to travel, hate to arrive.”
Favourite TV show: Green Planet for footage. Apprentice for comedy.
Favourite musician: Eclectic taste. Last gig seeing Moderat at Ally Pally was fantastic.
Favourite song: Cavalleria rusticana, very loud.
Favourite rugby ground(s): I haven’t been to that many, but the atmosphere and sense of homeliness at Rams is a sure favourite of mine.
Favourite other sports: Curling because it makes me consider if I need to hoover up, and if I do and I’m watching curling, it’s usually a good time to do some hoovering…
One rule change you'd make in rugby: I don’t know all the rules so couldn’t suggest any changes.
Best thing about RAMS RFC: Its foundations, with the ethos and drive to prosper long into the future. Oh, and it's brand!
