Name: Simon Henderson (Spike).
Company: Optimum Construction Ltd.
First year of sponsorship: 2012.
What our business does: Construction of new-build properties.
Why we sponsor Rams: Being an ex-player and first-team coach and also the love of the club which has blossomed since being involved with Rams.
Favourite Rams match: Beating Exmouth at home to win promotion to National Two South in 2015.
Worst Rams match: Losing to Bracknell away when in National Three South West.
Ollie Taylor ripped us apart at the line-out, but now he is playing for us!
Favourite Rams try: Azza Hopkins when we beat Exmouth in the promotion game.
He hit the line at pace on half way and beat four players before touching under the posts - and the first person to jump on him was me as I was behind the posts coaching with Mike Tewkesbury!
Favourite Rams player(s): Three legends really - Jez Flynn, Spike Chandler and Robbie Stapley.
Tom Vooght is getting very close though.
Favourite ever try (any rugby): Ben Henderson at Dings Crusaders when he took the ball on the 22, chipped the full back and caught it before going under the posts - only Hendo could do that.
Favourite ever player (any rugby): Willie Phillips Henley RFC (total legend and best player I have ever played with).
Favourite food: Roast dinner.
Favourite drink: Monkey 47 Gin and Mediterranean Fever Tree Tonic.
Favourite travel destination: Dubai.
Favourite TV show: The Voice.
Favourite musician: Sam Smith.
Favourite song: Diamonds by Sam Smith.
Favourite rugby ground(s): Old Bath Road and Twickenham.
Favourite other sports: Football, Cricket and Rugby League.
One rule change you'd make in rugby: I would bring back proper rucking.
Best thing about Rams RFC: The people.
But I also I love that we have a fantastic CEO, a brilliant Chairman, a Director of Coaching who taught me so much and a Head Coach I have full respect for.
Gary Reynolds (who believed in me when he approached me to come and coach all those years ago), Andy Lynch, Mike Tewkesbury and Seb Reynolds - thank you for letting
me be a great part of the club being a first-team player, coach and now a true supporter and sponsor.
And last thing, Ash Rowden I love you!
