ROTHERHAM Titans continued their dream return to National One with a 48-19 home success against winless Esher.
The hosts crossed twice through Callum Bustin and Jack Bergmanas inside 10 minutes, Lloyd Hayes adding to the first, and they moved further ahead then he repeated the trick following Bustin’s second.
Esher hit back through Will Inglis, Owen Waters on target, and Stan Norman, but Roth wrapped up the bonus-point before the break as Hayes added to his own score for 26-12.
A converted Harry Faulkner effort gave the Eees hope midway through the third quarter, but the home team pulled away as Hayes kicked a penalty before Ronnie Randt crossed.
And they added further gloss to the scoreline late on, Luke Cole and Hayes dotting down with the latter successful twice more from the tee.
Richmond recorded a third straight win with a 48-7 home cruise against Darlington Mowden Park.
A Henry Wills try converted by Callum Grieve gave the Londoners an early lead, albeit DMP levelled through Josh Ree and Harry Read.
However, that was as good as it got for the visitors, Jake Monson and Paddy Case touching down for 17-7 at the break.
And 31 unanswered points came in the second half, Rhett Butler and Frank McMillan bagging braces as Lucas Schmid also crossed, Grieve with two more conversions and Lewis Dennett one.
Birmingham Moseley are the other team with three victories from three following a 28-14 home triumph against Bishop’s Stortford.
Aquile Smith’s second-minute try was added to by Jack Jolly for the Midlanders, albeit the visitors levelled through Chris Smith and Mike Cooke.
Smith doubled up and Jolly was again on target for 14-7 at half-time, though, and Mose pulled further clear with a converted Dan Brough effort.
Will Rogers and Cooke reduced the deficit to seven points, but a late penalty try sealed the bonus for Birmingham and left Stortford with nothing.
Blackheath held off visitors Rosslyn Park to win their London derby 32-24.
A Tom Ffitch penalty and conversion along with tries from Oli Burgess and Tex Cavubati pushed Club 15-0 up before Park hit back five minutes before the break, Steffan James on target after Jacob Wrafter crossed.
James kicked a penalty before converted tries were exchanged between Noah Sloot for the hosts and Charlie Walker.
Rosslyn hit the front at the start of the final quarter, James adding to Charlie Mulchrone’s score, but an Oskar Hirskyj-Douglas try and five more points from Ffitch’s foot secured the victory for Club.
Plymouth Albion repelled a late Leicester Lions rally to earn their first win of the season at The Bricklands.
A Tom Putt three-pointer was countered by the visitors nabbing the opening try, Charlie Davies touching down.
However, Putt added to a Shae Cornish score before the interval, and went onto lead 27-5 thanks to a Rhys Williams effort, penalty try and the boot of Putt.
Lions fought hard, though, and Joe Brock and Isaac Thompson crossed, Luke Bouchier converting both and kicking a penalty to salvage a losing bonus-point.
Dings Crusaders made it back-to-back wins with a fine 20-11 triumph at Sedgley Park.
First-half tries from Kenzie Jenkins and Tomas Gwilliam, both converted by Tom Knight, made it 14-0 to the Bristolians, Warren Seals getting Sedge on the board with two early second-half penalties.
A George Boulton three-pointer edged Dings further ahead, but Matt Law’s late try kept Tigers’ hopes alive.
However, they were dashed with Boulton’s injury-time penalty even depriving the hosts of a losing bonus point.
Rams, meanwhile, overcame Sale 33-0 with one of their best displays of recent times.
