PACY prop George Breese returns to England from a spell playing in New Zealand as he becomes Rams’ sixth off-season signing.
The former Scotland Under 20 international began his career at Yorkshire-based Malton & Norton RFC – the same club as Welsh international tight-head Tomas Francis – before attending Terrington School and then Glenalmond College in Perth.
George joined Stirling County in 2019 before winning the Super6 Series with Stirling Wolves, playing in the same Scotland U20s team as full international hooker Ewan Ashman before heading to New Zealand at the start of 2024 to play for Burnside in Christchurch.
But after 18 months away the versatile prop, capable of playing on either side of the scrum, is back in the northern hemisphere and ready to make an impact at Old Bath Road.
*Welcome to Berkshire George and we look forward to seeing you in action!
