A powerhouse performance from Rams pack and outstanding tackling from centres Steve Bryant and Jordan Sutter provided the platform for a bonus point away win at Worthing.

The home side opened their account in the 3rd minute when Rams were lucky not to get a card for a red zone penalty infringement, McLean grabbing the three points, the start of an 18 point bonanza for the highly talented Worthing fly-half.

Rams hit back on the 9th minute with Tom Vooght touching-down after sustained pressure from the Rams pack, Tom Humberstone converting. That same pressure created scores for skipper Robbie Stapley (12th minute) and Will Morrison (19th minute) to make the half time score 19-13 to Rams.

Raiders closed the gap to just 3 points courtesy of another McLean penalty on the 52nd minute but tries from Craig Nightingale, a second from Robbie Stapley and the ever reliable penalty try from a scrum (the 4th of the season for Rams) put the game beyond Raiders' grasp with the score 40-16 Rams with 12 minutes left on the clock. To their credit Worthing refused to give up and some lively play from their ever resourceful half backs grabbed two scores at the end, including a penalty try of their own, to bring the final score to 40-30.

Next week Rams are on the road again to old friends and rivals Chinnor, who are looking good this year. Should be a real belter - come along and follow the Rams.
