Ryan Lamb’s side most recently toppled Sedgley Park 38-35 to back up away successes against Blackheath (22-19), Leicester Lions (20-17) and Birmingham Moseley (33-32), a 24-21 home triumph against Bishop’s Stortford their first game of 2025.
That win came off the back of 31-3, 34-31 and 24-14 victories against Dings Crusaders, Esher and Darlington Mowden Park, while prior to that they pushed top-four sides Rosslyn Park (33-29), Richmond (20-15) and Rotherham Titans (18-17) mightily close following a 21-16 loss to Rams.
Plymouth’s most disappointing result of the season came in Week Seven with a 41-16 setback at Sedgley Park, although they had beaten Blackheath (29-23), Moseley (35-15), Stortford (39-20) and Leicester (27-22) beforehand.
The Ocean City’s Finest started the campaign with back-to-back defeats, going down 46-29 at Dings after falling to a narrow 28-24 home loss against Sale FC on the opening day.
Players to Watch:
Morgan Stone – Young Welsh scrum-half has been in exceptional form with five tries in his past seven games, starting four of those as he shares the No. 9 jersey with Cornwall ace Jack Outlon.
The 20-year-old joined Albion on loan from Exeter Chiefs in the 2022/23 season before signing full-time at the Brickfields ahead of the next campaign.
Craig Duncan – Former Newport-Gwent Dragons wing is enjoying a stunning campaign which has seen him grab 14 tries in 16 appearances – including six in his past six outings to leave him third in the league standings.
Scored a superb hat-trick against Dings Crusaders as part of the hot streak and also recently reached his half-century of caps for Plymouth.
Tom Putt – Classy operator was named in The Rugby Paper’s National One Team of the Year last season and has continued where he left off.
Metronomic boot has helped the full-back – who can also play at half-back - sit fourth in the top point-scorers this term with 162 (three tries, 39 conversions and three penalties), while also reaching 100 Albion caps earlier in the campaign.
