RAMS-RICHMOND TO BE SHOWN AROUND THE WORLD

RAMS-RICHMOND TO BE SHOWN AROUND THE WORLD

Rich Ashton5 Dec 2024 - 12:30

Livestream available for those who can't join expected record crowd!

RAMS’ top-of-the-table National One Friday Night Lights home clash with leaders Richmond will be livestreamed for those unable to make it to Old Bath Road tomorrow (7.45pm).

An early Christmas cracker is on the cards as the two sides, both with 10 wins and 49 points, square off in Berkshire in what looks like being a record crowd – but for those who can’t join the fun in person, the show will go on.

Supported by Courtiers and televised by NextGenXV on YouTube, the livestream will be the fourth time Rams have broadcast from their home ground, with the previous three televised clashes with Chinnor all providing some stunning moments.

First time round the star of the show was Rams’ captain Robbie Stapley, who scored a remarkable hat-trick in a 38-22 success less than 24 hours after his second child, Arlo, had been born.

Then, in February 2023, tight-head prop James Baker’s extraordinary midfield break attracted more than 50,000 views when going viral on social media, his man-of-the-match display helping the hosts secure a 50-31 triumph.

And a third victory with the cameras on came in September of that year, the hosts rallying from a poor start to overcome eventual champions Chinnor in a 29-19 triumph, Axel Kalling-Smith at the double.

Supporters round the world have enjoyed the livestream before, with fans checking in from far-flung venues such as Australia, South Africa, the Caribbean and Asia.

However, there is no substitute for being there in person, so book your tickets at the discounted rate of £16 (£18 on the day) by clicking here

The livestream will be online from 7.30pm tomorrow and is available here
