FOLLOWING board-level meetings between Reading RFC and Rams, it has been agreed the two clubs will collaborate in the formation of a new Reading and Wokingham RRP (Regional Rugby Partnership).

Our coach accreditation process will form a framework for player advancement and Rams will continue to develop its elite pathways for aspirational young players.

Reading RFC will continue to pioneer community rugby across all aspects of our sport and drive women's rugby forward, which is a key goal of the new RRP.

Reading RFC and Rams will continue to operate as separate entities, as they do presently, but will work closely together within the RRP.

I believe together we can do great things for the benefit of the Wokingham and Reading communities and I am excited about working with John Kelly, Reading RFC's recently appointed visionary Chair, and his enthusiastic new team.
