PHIL Rushton’s all-round contribution saw the veteran win the Horde’s Clubman of the Season award.
In his 32nd campaign at the club, Phil was a stalwart on and off the field throughout the Thames Valley Invitation League title-winning year, playing alongside sons Jack and Seb at times.
An Honours Cap winner after three decades at the club two years ago, Horde (5th XV) player-coach Jack Gaylor paid tribute to the ‘ever-reliable’ award winner as he said: “Every Saturday Phil made himself available to always lend a hand in any way he could.
“For the Centaurs, when not playing, Phil was a constant support for me on the sidelines to manage the bench, run the line and just to be a legend.
“Phil has been a constant figure for the Centaurs (3rd XV) and Horde since I have been involved in Rams senior rugby.”
*Congratulations Phil for your outstanding efforts!
