Six Nations - 2019: Result of Ballot for Rams RFC members

Six Nations - 2019: Result of Ballot for Rams RFC members

Graeme Cook3 Nov 2018 - 20:52

Record number of tickets allocated to the #Ramily

I am pleased to annouce that the ballot for England's Six Nations fixtures in February and March 2019 was drawn this afternoon following the Rams victory over Ding Crusaders. The draw was made by Paul Clark - Club Photographer and Webmaster.

271 tickets were applied for against a standard Club allocation of 64 tickets - 20 each for the home matches against France, Italy, and Scotland; and a pair of tickets for each of the away matches in Cardiff and Dublin.

Due to the new 'cashless' application process being trialled this season; we have been able to better match demand from members throughout all sections of the Club with the strict timetables and guidelines set by the RFU ticket office. As a result of this improved matching, alonside opportunistic purchasing, Rams RFC have been able to acquire significantly more tickets than our official allocation. In total, 131 tickets have been acquired so far for the #Ramily for England's 2019 Six Nations matches (205% more than our official allocation and 48% of overall member demand).

Details of exact pricing and how to secure these will be sent out to individuals on Monday with payment strictly required by 23rd November. Failure to make payment by that date means that the the right to purchase tickets will be forfeited. In addition, the names of all successful applicant will be verified to ensure that all memberships are up to date.

Thanks to everyone for following the new process and I will be in touch over the coming week.

Graeme Cook
International Ticket Secretary
Rams RFC
