SOLODRAU Radianirova starts for the Army in front of an expected crowd of nearly 50,000 when the Red Shirts face the Royal Navy at The Allianz Stadium this afternoon (2.15pm).
The Fijian flyer takes the full-back role as he looks to help Army begin the defence of their Inter-Services title at HQ, 12 months on from the greatest ever game between the forces which saw him score as his side completed an incredible comeback triumph from 29-5 down at half-time to win 43-42 with a last-gasp try.
In what promises to be a cracking affair, Solo starts alongside former Premiership players Senitiki Nayolo and Semesa Rokoduguni, German international brothers Mikey and Cameron McDonald as well as Cambridge’s Championship back row Matt Dawson.
The Army – who beat Rams Development 35-7 back in February – are captained by hooker Pete Austin, a former London Irish Academy age group contemporary of Senior Squad attack coach Harry Stapleton.
