Playing the format for the first time, the OBB Division Two title winners lost their opening game 27-12 against Twickenham, Josh Gouws and Matty Croft with the scores, but they found their feet with a fine victory against the hosts as Gouws, Josh Hayter, Tom Croft and Jordan Navetta all went over, the latter and Elliot Jones with excellent conversions.

Gouws continued his productive day with a try and conversion against Ealing, and despite his side losing 10-7, the two locked horns again in a final where Rams gained revenge with a 28-7 triumph.

On this occasion Tom Croft opened the scoring to finish a well-worked team try, Gouws’ fast feet adding another before two more from Ollie Preston and a quartet of conversions sealed the deal.
