THE stunning winning streak which helped Rams Centaurs (3rd XV) to Counties Two Tribute Berks, Bucks, & Oxon South runners-up status has been recognised with Jack Gaylor’s men named Berkshire RFU Team of the Month for April.

The Mighty Cents went into overdrive as the season went on, victorious in nine of their last 10 games, including the last five, to record a brilliant second-placed finish behind unbeaten champions Henley 2nd XV.

Having defeated Newbury 2nd XV 33-10 in the final game before Christmas, Rams turned on the style in 2025, knocking down Hungerford away (30-17), Tadley (31-10) and collecting a forfeiture from Amersham & Chiltern 2nd XV before putting in a spirited show at Henley in a 29-0 reverse.

From there, however, it was plain sailing, the Cents easing past Beaconsfield 2nd XV (32-5), Slough (48-14), Thatcham (90-7), Tadley (55-29) and finally Maidenhead 2nd XV (53-0) during an incredible end to the campaign which helped them deservedly take the silver medal.
