Skipper Stapley also back in side for Plymouth test!

LUCAS Brooke and Ollie Allan will make their first RAMS’ starts as captain Robbie Stapley also returns to action in tomorrow’s National One home game against Plymouth Albion (3pm).

The London Irish loanees, who have impressed off the bench against Birmingham Moseley and Leeds Tykes during the past fortnight, start at open-side flanker and scrum-half respectively among five changes from last Saturday’s victorious outfit.

Allan is partnered by vice-captain Drew Humberstone at half-back, the latter switching from inside centre with Alex Seers picking up an injury at The Sycamores.

Humberstone’s move frees up the No. 12 jersey for Axel Kalling-Smith – the powerful ball carrier returning from two weeks of international duty with Sweden to partner Ellis Jones in midfield.

Top try-scorer Jak Rossiter and Henry Bird are again on the wings, while Charlie Robson is back in the starting line-up at full-back having grabbed a fifth score of the season at Leeds after coming off the bench.

The front five of the pack which provided the base for last week’s success remain the same, props Ant Marris and Sean McDonnell-Roberts joined by hooker Max Hayman – a two-try hero at Leeds – with Ollie Taylor and Dan Swain behind them.

Skipper Stapley is back after completing the concussion protocols inflicted on him at Rosslyn Park, meaning James McRae switches to the blind side as Brooke completes the back-row trio.

Ollie Moffitt and the irrepressible James Baker are again ready to come off the bench in the front row, the duo helping RAMS really turn the screw at scrum time up north.

Josh Collis drops to the bench ready to add impetus in the back row, while there is potential for a first appearance for full-back Tim Townsend.

The South African – who possesses a howitzer-like boot – has been in fine form for the Titans since coming over to England at the start of the season and is joined by Ollie Cole in completing the squad.

Flanker Vince Everitt and stalwart centre Stevie Bryant are named as reserves as RAMS seek a perfect 10th win ahead of the rest week to come.
