RAMS Centaurs have named a 30-man squad as they kick-start their pre-season preparations with a trip to play Chesham under the Friday Night Lights at Aylesbury RFC tomorrow evening (7.45pm).
Outside centre Alex Griffiths leads the squad with Tom Burrows inside him at 12, attack captain Jack Gaylor partnered at half-back by stand-off Cam George.
There is pace out wide with last season’s Progression Award winner AJ Peplinski on the left, with Shane Hancock on the other side and Alex Evans starting at full back.
Up front, Robin Taylor, hooker Fergus Mackenzie and Coaches’ Player of the Year Dave Southworth lead the scrum, with defence skipper Ryan Kinsella partnered by George Green in the engine room.
In the back row, Jack Williams and Harrison Stanners are on the flanks, with the ever-powerful ball-carrying of Chris Kessell ready to add momentum at No. 8.
Front-row reinforcements come in the shape of Michael Paige, Jake Lane and Tom Cook, while former first-teamers Graham Oakley and the evergreen Frankie Richardson are joined by former Colt Callum Pitfield in providing options further back in the scrum.
The squad, which contains a number of new faces, also includes the likes of Jacob Orbell, Ryan Sollitt and Clubman of the Year Mike Stroud.
The address for Aylesbury's ground is Ostler's Field, Brook End, Weston Turville, HP22 5RN.
