Rams are the early National Div. 3 South West table leaders following another sparkling second half performance running in five tries to land their second successive bonus point win in two opening games.
But Rams also made it tough on themselves as well, playing with 14 men for 20 minutes because of two yellow cards.
Nevertheless they ended the afternoon as table-toppers and now have a week off due to the ongoing work on their clubhouse and having shifted their scheduled game with Brixham to November.
With flanking skipper Andy Amor back at the helm Rams led all the way and never looked like losing despite the home sides spirited display that kept the scoreline down to a six point deficit at half time.
He said afterwards: “It was a great win, it's never easy to come to Bournemouth and I think a lot of sides will struggle down here. It was a tight first half but, luckily, like last week, we scored five tries in the second half to take control.
“The first half was pretty tight we controlled the game well with possession in that first half and then allowed our backs to play some good moves and score some tries late on.”
And he also praised his back division: “Steve Bryant was excellent scoring a couple of tries and Ollie Johnson played well as well and it was good to see Olly Mann, on his debut, score. The line-out was also outstanding and the scrums were good.”
Rams scrum half James Brooks drop-out got the game started and, for much of the opening quarter, the visitors found themselves under pressure from the lively home side and it wasn't until the 17th minute that they finally broke the stalemate when Brooks blasted over his first penalty.
And, within minutes, they had extended their lead when, following No.8 Gus Davies drive off a line-out, the ball came back for Flower to drop a neat goal, 6-0.
And they had stretched it to 9-0 soon after when, this time, home flanker James Bovett was yellow carded for preventing release of the ball at a ruck and Brooks banged over the spot kick.
But Bournemouth finished the half strongly and had cut the deficit to 9-3 by the interval as Rams flanker Aaron Hopkins was yellow carded for a late tackle and home fly half Lewis Dennett banged over the kick.
And it was penalty that extended Rams lead soon after the break when a Bournemouth player was penalised for joining a ruck on the wrong side and Brooks landed the kick from wide out for a 12-3 lead.
And they increased their advantage almost immediately as, from the restart, they put together a patient build-up that wing Ollie Foxley exploited jinking his way past players before putting in a neat kick ahead into the home in-goal area and winning the race to the touchdown.
Brooks tough conversion attempt went wide and from the restart Rams once more came under some severe pressure from the home team and, for a short time, looked a little jittery.
But the visitors recovered their composure led by a Bryant break plus good work from Brooks and centre David Massey before a beautifully placed cross-kick from Flower saw Bryant touching down wide out.
It went unconverted, 3-22, and prompted some immediate retaliation from the home side who dominated possession for a while and, despite some excellent defence on their own line from Rams, they finally got their rewards with an unconverted try from full back Tom Morgan, 8-22.
Rams, however, had hit back within three minute as Foxley carved up the home defence once more and sent centre David Massey steaming over and for Brooks to convert.
At 29-8 with 15 minutes remaining Rams were now well in control and added two more tries.
First Flower's wonderful pin-point cross-kick found Bryant again to scorch in for his second while with Jack Hill now on for Brooks it was Hill's break that led to a move featuring Amor, Brooks and replacement lock Mickal Kruzycki who put full back Ollie Mann, on his debut, away for the final unconverted try.
A fine second win for Rams and some fine performances particularly from double try scoring centre Steve Bryans who had opened his seasons account the previous week with a try against Barnstaple.
He said afterwards: “Two tries both off cross-field kicks so I'm very pleased. I thought the first 30 minutes was good but the 10 before half-time was pretty terrible however in the second half we came out firing and were good. I've never scored that much really so three tries in two weeks I'm very happy with.”
And Rams new fly half this season, Luke Flower, was another of the backs very pleased with his afternoons work.
He commented: “Personally I had a few good pointers but I think that we moved quite well on from last week as a team. We played forty minutes as a side last week and today we probably put sixty or even 70 minutes in which was a vast improvement.
“But there are still improvements to come we're not the best yet we've still got things to work on and hopefully we can get near that 80 minutes.
“The boys have made me very welcome and personally I'm pleased with my performance but there's always things to work on. The cross-field kick was a nice little one but it's only as good as the chaser. And which was great from Steve.”
