Hi to all, good to see most people back at training after the Christmas break, i know a few are still away.

Hopefully the very wet weather is behind us now and we can get on with some friendly competitions over the coming weeks.

We were lucky to have Russell from the Berkshire RFU coaching team come along on Sunday and give the coaches a few pointers on how to run
training games to improve different aspects of the game, i thing everyone in the squad enjoyed it.

The concept of the small area games is to try and get everyone involved, once players have made a few tackles and been tackled they get use to the bumps and bangs that happen during games. They also understand the that they need to get up of move away from the tackling area as quickly as possible to continue the with the game.

After some very good tackling we have awarded two more tackling socks this week to Brandon and Josh Ede. Well done! I think everyone got something out of Sundays training session.
