U10 Week 21 Report

A tough and muddy day.

A tough and muddy day.

Hi to all, with over a third of the squad off with cold and flu it turned into a tough and muddy day for the remainder against Tadley.

A slight miss match at the start had a mixed team of Titans and Dragons against Tadley A.

We took them on in our Rucking drill game, they came out fighting and had the run of play, it was good to see our players giving their all and not giving up. Some games do turn into a very hard battle but I was glad to see the team getting stuck in and not giving up. I could see three of the squad getting a bit upset as they were battered and bruised. Well done to Danny, Alex Bruce and Josh Oughton for putting in great effort and never giving up. This is how hard it can be sometimes at rugby but you kept fighting and you never gave up, well done.

Hopefully you've managed to get the mud out.

This week we are at home to Reading Abbey and Slough. Depending on how many visitors we have I would hope to run a round robin set of games. We will be back in our usual spot on the middle pitch.

Can I ask anyone else who would like to buy the RFU raffle tickets to let me have them this Sunday as they need to be handed in next week.

Have a good week.
