Unilever share price hits an all-time high as the sale of washing powder increase experientially.
The sale of washing powder hits an all-time high as Redingensians U10s take to the pitch on a cold wet and very very muddy Sunday morning.
Many thanks to all the parents that braved the weather today; it was the largest turn out of the squad this season. Without you the players would still be tucked up in bed.
I was great to have a bit of opposition this week with two teams from Abbey, sorry a no show from Slough, they must be fair weather rugby players.
After last week’s hard fought battle with Tadley and the weather conditions we had today I would be happy to put our squad up against any team in any weather. I sure that over the many years to come the squad will have its tough days like Tadley and bad weather days like today, but the squad knuckled down and got on with it. If they put up with that they can put up with anything . The strange thing is most players seem to like the very muddy conditions, not sure about the parents after having to clean the car out and working out how to get the mud stains out of the washing machine.
It was a fairly one sided affair and I was a bit disappointed that Abbey decided to hit the road at 11am. Maybe they were off to the shops to get the washing powder before it sold out.
Next week we are away at Newbury, details and lots of Admin to follow this week, sorry!!
Can Joao make sure his son has the correct shorts on at Newbury please or you will have to pay the price again on tour.
Have a good week
David
