Met Office gets forecast right.
Slough:
Things didn't bode well when I was putting up the tent in drizzle and with the weather forecast for persistent and heavy rain all morning for once the met office were not wrong.
The Titans team dually turned up tried to stay dry for as long as possible but had to come out of the tent and play when called for.
The team didn't do well in the first two games and Andy was lucky to get them back on the pitch for the second half of the second game as they were now so wet.
The decision was made as all of the team were now socked down to their smalls to call it a day and hand the last game to the opposition.
By the time I had the tent down all the other teams had gone for an early bath and were heading home. (After pushing their cars out of the car park)
Sorry Jo and Marisol had to mention it. Hope you've managed to get the mud out.
With Noah in the team I think if I had brought some timber with me they would have been more gainfully employed building an ark.
Old Bath Road:
With the remainder of the squad back at Gensians entertaining Tadley things were no better. By the time I got back to help out most of the players were wet through and not enjoying the training much. We persevered and set up a couple of games with Tadley. After the first game mutiny was about to break out and we pulled the plug.

A big thank you to all parents and squad that turned out today, although we were split we had 30 of the squad out today trying to play rugby.
Next week we are training at home with a visit from the first team. They usually have a question and answer session in the club house after. So get the squad to think up a few tricky questions for them.
Have a dry week.
