RAMS Development XV are back in action as they host the British Army on Wednesday night (7.30pm).
There have been plenty of fun floodlit home experiences for the youthful side this term, and they will be looking to return to winning ways following the 24-12 reverse at Oxford University last time out.
Prior to that they lost 13-5 on a bitterly cold evening at Richmond Vikings (2nd XV), but back in October there were three Wednesday night home triumphs in a row as Army Under 23s (54-0), Royal Air Force (19-5) and Cambridge University (26-10) visited Old Bath Road.
Meanwhile the Army are the reigning Inter-Services champions following victory in ‘the greatest Navy game’ ever at Twickenham last April (43-42), followed by a convincing success against the Royal Air Force (45-21) at Gloucester’s Kingsholm stadium.
They have continued their excellent form this season, remaining unbeaten with a trio of wins versus US Military (47-17), British Police (66-17) and Cambridge University (31-28).
Entry for Wednesday’s game is free, with food and drink on sale and gates open at 6pm.
