Back to winning ways

This week we played Witney and once again it was an exciting match to watch from a spectator's point of view and I was left feeling very proud of our players.

Witney had a big side from a size perspective, and we had a number of our smaller players playing.

Witney scored the first try and converted it very quickly, but Louis came back with a try and then Sam H scored a try neither of which was converted. (although I should probably credit Sam's try to Dan as I got it wrong last week and credited one of Dan's tries to Sam!)

There was no score in the second half although it was hard fought all of the way.

Final score 10-7 to us.

Man of steel was Toby, forward of the week was Louis and back of the week was Tom R. I thought Tom R won the drink off, and Rob thought Toby did, so we have a joint player of the week in Tom R and Toby.

Next week sees us away at Windsor for our first league match.
