New Season's League starts with a win

The unbeaten Berkshire League Under 13's Champions from the 2009/2010 season opened their campaign as Under 14’s with a comfortable win.

Playing on the Club’s 1st team pitch for the first time, the Under 14’s stunned Reading Abbey with two tries within the first 5 minuets and Abbey were never able to get back into the game. The dominance and power of Redingensians’ forwards added to the handling and speed of their backs meant that the visitors had little opportunity. Further tries came in the first half and Ensians came to half time without any points against them.

In the second half, Redingensians continued to dominate and even though Abbey managed a penalty and converted try, they conceded more tries and the eventual total of 8 tries to the home team meant a well deserved bonus point win.
