Another tough day at Windsor.
A certain sense of deja vu, Windsor comes around all too soon and always brings with it some decent clubs. Lumped in a very strong pool we saw our U11s beaten in all 4 matches, but perhaps that headline statistic flatters some of the opposition.
We played some great rugby in the first 2 matches, a very narrow loss 2-1 to Rosslyn Park in the first could have gone either way; 2-0 against Saracens definitely does not credit what Ensians players achieved, dominating for good sections of the match but not quite converting this into tries. Spirit, grit and determination were there in spades for us and we should be proud of that.
The last 2 games saw the heads drop somewhat, a very strong Richmond dominated it has to be said, a heavy loss leaving us somewhat downbeat for our last match with Old Guildfordians - perhaps had we played them earlier things may have been different, but sadly another loss to end the day.
It gives us a base to work on and maybe highlights some key areas we can now build on.. it always gets better after Windsor. Well done boys.
