BISHOP’S Stortford produced the most eye-catching weekend performance with a 21-19 victory at Championship neighbours Cambridge.
The hosts took the lead through an Eli Caven score, only for Jack Biard to level before Mike Cooke’s conversion nudged Stortford in front.
Caven’s length-of-the-field second was added to by Louis Grimoldby, and the fly-half was again on target after Pete White finished a flowing move on 54 minutes.
Yet the visitors hung in the game, and converted tries from Harrison Langworthy and Chris Bolton helped them snatch victory in the final 10 minutes.
Rosslyn Park again purred with a 52-12 home win against National Two East side Barnes.

An Arthur Ellis maul try and one out wide from Benji Marfo were both added to by James, Barnes getting an unconverted one back before Matt Woodward had the final word for the hosts.
Newly-promoted Rotherham Titans overcame travel disruption to win 31-21 at Guernsey Raiders.
Despite being stuck on the plane for an extra 90 minutes, tries from Rob Povey and Jack Bergamanas gave the visitors a 10-7 interval lead, Harry Gilson-Fox and substitute Lloyd Hayes then extending the advantage.
Two Povey conversions made it 24-7, but Guernsey replied with a brace of converted scores before the visitors sealed the deal with one of their own, Luke Cole the try-scorer.
Blackheath went down 34-24 in a floodlit Friday Night clash at Championship side Bedford Blues.

A 15-7 interval advantage was extended at the end of the third quarter, Joel Matavesi adding to Reuben Logan’s try.
A Jake Lloyd effort kept Blackheath in the contest, only for Logan to immediately double up for 27-12.

And despite the visitors having the last word via Alex Witchell, it was too little, too late.
A stunning mid-game blitz saw Birmingham Moseley fall victim to a 61-21 reverse at Coventry.
Aquile Smith’s try, converted by Tighe Maxwell-Whiteley, gave Mose an early lead, the hosts striking back through Ryan Hutler.
Tommy Matthews added the extras, but Smith’s converted score put Birmingham back in front.
However, tries from Chester Owen and Steff Davies were both added to by Theo Mannion in the last three minutes of the opening period, Coventry then pulling clear with a further 40 unanswered points – Jimmy Martin with a brace as Suva Ma’asi, Tom Ball, Tom Hitchcock, Obi Nkocha also crossed the whitewash and Mannion slotted five more conversions.
Ethan Priest grabbed a late consolation for Moseley, Ollie Rowbery with the extras.
Sedgley Park won a thrilling home contest 42-31 against Sheffield.

Tom Hesketh went over for Park, Seals again on target, but Sheffield’s third try nudged them three points in front.
A converted Ben Gregory effort got Sedge back in front, only for the lead to swap hands again as Sheffield scored one of their own.
Gregory’s second and a Matt Law try – both added to by Seals – made it 35-24, and while Sheffield rallied again, Park eventually secured the win with a late Rhys Enderson effort.
Dings Crusaders won their home derby with National Two West outfit Clifton 43-26.
The home side took the lead through Solomon Taufa, Tom Knight slotting the kick, Clifton levelling with a converted try of their own.
