Amersham & Chiltern 17-57 Rams (February 25, 2012)
Nine-try Rams brushed aside the hosts as they recorded a 10th victory in 11 games during a sensation run which also saw them go onto remain unbeaten until the end of the season, a further eight matches.
Joe Duffelen, Jez Flynn and Robbie Stapley all helped themselves to doubles, with the other tries coming from Mark Odejobi, Mike Clarke and Guy Swadling, the latter slotting five conversions.
The final points came from a Shaun Brown conversion.
Rams 22-52 Llanharan (August 15, 2009)
Sid Matthews – who added two conversions – Joao Costa and Robbie Stapley all crossed the whitewash in this pre-season friendly, but Rams were heavy losers despite Andy Webb also kicking a penalty.
Rams 62-12 Abbey (March 20, 2009)
Gensians showed they were in no mood to give up the Berkshire Cup after storming into the final with a nine-try bonanza under the Rosehill floodlights.
While the holders fielded their full South West One league line-up, Abbey stayed faithful to their mainly second team that had seen off Reading in the previous round.
Gensians coach Tom Hoines said: “We needed to keep playing and keep our momentum going before going to Cleve next weekend. It was certainly quite a physical game.”
A Spike Chandler penalty opened the visitors’ account after four minutes and eight minutes later prop James Baker scored the first of their tries.
Soon afterwards, a drive from prop Scotty Breadmore set up a second for Gensians’ man-of- the-match Robbie Stapley.
Then some fleet-footed work in midfield from centre James Lack saw him snatch number three. Both tries were converted by Chandler.
Within minutes it was Chandler again after scrum-half Sid Mathews had been put away by the combined efforts of full-back Warren Abrahams and hooker Tom Clare.
Abbey put some points on the board five minutes before half-time when full-back Glenn Hunt carved his way through midfield to send in hooker Oli Charlton.
Gensians, however, had the final say of the half when, from a penalty line-out, wing Tom Allen touched down.
Allen also had a big hand in Abraham’s unconverted opening try of the second half.
On the hour, wing Jez Flynn stormed over in the corner forcing a great touchline conversion from Chandler. Then centre Seb Reynolds put his name on the scoresheet.
And there was still time for an appearance from forwards coach Andy Lynch, their former skipper, setting up the final try for Abrahams.
Rams 56-18 Chippenham (March 14, 2009)
Two tries apiece from Seb Reynolds and Sid Matthews set Rams on their way to a convincing home win.
Warren Abrahams, Jevon Marsh, Jez Flynn and Simon Swadling also crossed the whitewash and Spike Chandler kicked five conversions and two penalties to complete the scoring.
Abbey 62-12 Rams (February 8, 1997)
Andy McCrory and Ryan Telfer dotted down for Gensians, Gerry Howarth with a conversion, but this was a bad day at the office for the boys in blue.
