A Rob Castell hat-trick helped Rams maintain their unbeaten South West Two East start despite a late wobble.
Matt Reed also bagged a brace and Andy Amor and Seb Reynolds crossed the whitewash as the hosts roared into a 41-8 lead, James Lack adding three conversions.
However, a remarkable collapse in the final quarter saw Swindon run in four tries as Greg Lynch and then Amor were both sent to the sin-bin.
Rams 70-7 Blandford (December 19, 1998)
Rodney Hutson scored a remarkable five tries as Rams turned on the style before Christmas in a 12-try rout.
Tim Bell also harvested a hat-trick, with the other tries coming from Dave Layder, Greg Way, Rob Hancock and Martin Duncan.
The scoring was completed by five Dave Cox conversions.
Maidenhead 2nds 50-27 Rams (March 28, 1998)
Paul Tatum bagged a brace and Matt Gray, Nick Flynn and Greg Frost also crossed the whitewash, but Rams were beaten in a high-scoring encounter where Dave Layder kicked a conversion.
