Chinnor 39-41 Rams (December 19, 2015)
Robbie Stapley scored on his return to the club as Rams gave their National Two South survival hopes a massive pre-Christmas boost with a sensational success at Kingsey Road.
It had been an ignominious start for Stapley who was sin-binned in the eighth minute, but the visitors led 22-21 at the interval thanks to a brace of Sean McDermottroe tries and one from Olly Foxley, Luke Flower – who set-up one score with a perfectly weighted cross-kick – landing two conversions and a penalty.
Chinnor, meanwhile, had scored three converted tries of their own and could have had a fourth, only for Greg Goodfellow to knock the ball on with the line at his mercy, in 40 minutes when the lead changed hands five times.
Man-of-the-match Tom Vooght extended the lead four minutes into the second half, but with Ben Henderson in the sin-bin, Chinnor cut the gap to 29-26 with their fourth score.
Rams took command, however, when Joe Vandermolen was yellow-carded, Stapley’s try converted by Flower before Henderson redeemed himself by starting and finishing a fine move.
With 10 minutes remaining the game looked up for the hosts, but they rallied with a try and penalty and after Vooght was also carded, Jamie Townsend crossed in the corner with the penultimate play of the game.
However, Bertie Hopkin was unable to snatch the draw with the final kick, despite being offered the chance twice due to shouting from a Rams player on his first attempt.
Rams 75-5 Supermarine (March 30, 1996)
Steve Gilbert led a 12-try rout with a brilliant hat-trick as Rams cruised to a resounding victory.
Jez Flynn and Neil Bailey also grabbed doubles with further tries coming from Julian Lidstone, Andy McCrory, Ryan Telfer, Andy Appleton and Ian Angell.
Appleton also kicked six conversions and a penalty for a 20-point personal haul.
Chiltern 6-74 Rams (April 18, 1987)
Gensians continued their spring rampage with a 14-try blitz of a weakened Chiltern side, Martin Radford leading the way with a hat-trick.
Joe Bell, Steve Hunt, Tim Bell and Stuart Loudwell all bagged braces with Graham Smith among the others to cross the whitewash.
Hunt also kicked seven conversions, with Graham Tibbett and Carter also landed one apiece.
